Well I have a fairly soft lace disk , however My disk ratings dnt match the other lace im seeing here, underside of disk mine looks like fade 8 turn 7 in middle is confusing 2 sets of numbers, 50 then below that says speed n below that 58 then a gap 0, so maybe someone can help me, So last Friday I bought 4 disks to make my 10 get #11 free, i see the lace i feel that rubbery texture i like the feel, thinking because Im less then 1 year playing, i thought hmm ok ill get it im thinking its a putter lol lol@me anywho I go home come here and start looking up the disks i just bought, Well Ill be dipped, its a driver,. I take it out 1st throw on my mark, few days later 3 and 5 ft away from basket off the 1st throw, I dnt knw, but I do like this disk, and am so glad to have found it and decided to buy it. so i dnt even knw if its over or under, what i knw is i can count on it to get me into birdie shots id say 7 times per 10. my rating i gave here is based on my other drivers i throw, I play alone alot so I throw 5 drivers carry 3 putters, and i play me as 5 players, im R/side-arm and only have issues with my timing n form and pitch its not the disk. and really haven't had 1 bad throw from this using this disk.

The lace in x-link soft is quite interesting. I've thrown all three types of rubber. The soft makes the lace rather finicky and hard to throw consistently. The medium and hard aren't that much different but they do make the disc more stable and easier to throw. I think for me and my weak arm the medium is ideal.

The feel the hand is pretty nice, the rim is wid. This is to be expected. However, the disc is floppy in the hand. The feel reminds me of a soft putter. The medium and the hard feel like a normal driver.

Getting distance with the x-link soft lace is a little challenging to do. It is finicky and hard to throw consistently. I have the hardest time to throw this level with the ground, it always ends up going high. I throw it, and at first  it is level with the ground, then it seems it catches air and gains elevation. This happens every time. On average I usually throw this around 300 feet. However, with the medium and hard link rubber I've had better success and consistency. I don't recall exactly how far I threw them, also at the same time I've thrown the medium and hard at a higher elevation than the soft.

Overall there are radical differences between the rubbers. With the soft link the lace is very finicky and unreliable. Its an alright disc, I am not in love with either of the rubbers.

I have been playing for 6 years and switched out all my drivers to the Lace line of Drivers.  I like only the soft, it forces you to throw accurate shots and it flies straight and far.  My throws with this disc are accurate 350 to 400 feet.  I have this line if discs dialed in and it has taken off at least 3 to 4 strokes on my favorite course. I only throw the soft because it gives me the best snap and grip.  I keep weights in my bag from 158 to 170 and use these for different situations.  My friends have tried them and they have less experience than me. They struggle with them.  They guy who taught me to play with 10+ years likes them, so this is how I figure it is a more medium experienced disc.

Here is what I have found that if you keep the disc on a line when releasing you are fine but if you have a tendency to round your throws then it makes you pay.  I feel that is why this disc is know to help you be more disciplined on your drives.

I didn't love the disc because of the type of plastic that vibram uses to make their drivers. The plastic is soft and flexible but it feels like rubber and does not fly good. I threw this disc 2 times and it just wobbled and went straight into the ground. I would not recommend this disc to anyone looking for drivers.
