The oLace is Vibrams answer for players looking for an overstable distance driver good for sidearm and overhand throws. The oLace should be more consistent than the regular Lace, and better in windy conditions. It has similar dimensions with a slightly thinner rim and slimmer profile.

Absolutely love it for forehand drives. Haven't found a disc that gives me more distance. Not overly stable. I used to throw a Firebird for my forehand drives, and the O-lace is longer, not as insanely stable, but still just as reliable. My Firebird (champ plastic) beat in after a season and now flips and doesn't come back if I put a touch of anhyzer on it, no such problems with the O-lace and Vibram's excellent rubber.

I threw a firm lace for a while and wanted to try this olace cuz I kept turning my lace over with the just the raw speed my Flick has( I am RHFH) and once I picked up the olace for the first time I was in love. This disc is what I was looking for. It's just enough overstable for me to flick it hard or soft and make it hold the lines I want. I can make it fly straight and meat hook right very easily and with a slight flick hyper it'll make that let turn around dogleg holes. And def must have for RHFH throwers. Thanks infinite discs

I just want to elaberate a Little more on this disc.

Farthest flying, most reliable disc in my bag. If you tell me I can only keep one drive from my bag it would be the o-lace. The glide on it seems to be a little better than a 5. It flies like a slightly faster, further, more reliable innova boss. RHBH or RHFH this disc goes. If you throw over 350-400 I highly recommend you check the Vibram O-lace out.

First off, Andy needs to relax a little. I just recently lucked into a Vibram o-lace at 174g and i have to say it is not as over stabe as suggested, at least for me, but it is still reliable. RHBH it will make that -1 turn and then only fade about a 2. I also throw fairly low shots no higher than 10' so that may be the reason for such little fade. As for RHFH it's all about the release, as Andy was saying in his comment it can turn and burn if not thrown with a SMOOTH release but thrown from a hyzer with a SMOOTH release it will pop up turn a -2 and come back 2. (Every disc can be thrown RHBH &RHFH, it's all about release). The X-link medium plastic feels great, specially in the humid Texas air where your hands can become sweaty. This disc has made me interested in trying more of vibram discs.

Vibram's come up with another solid disc in its distance driver line. This is an overstable disc, but flys very straight before the big end of flight fade. I was expecting something Stilleto like, but this is a disc that I can actually throw with my moderate backhand power. I'm able to throw this disc over 300 feet, and can rely on the consistent over-stability to ensure that it will only fade in one direction.

My test O-Lace is 172g in Medium X-Link. While I love the soft medium blend for my backhand throws, this plastic is too grippy for me for forehand and sticks to much on my release. My first forehand throw with the O-Lace stuck to my hand, flipped over to an anhyzer angle, and sailed across the street into somebody's back yard (I got it back). I'd recommend firm plastic for people who grip like me planning to use the O-Lace as a flick disc. For people that like the distance of the Lace, but want something more consistently stable, the O Lace is an excellent choice.
