The Omen is an overstable 9-speed driver from Thought Space Athletics. If you need a solid, hard fade when throwing side-arm, backhand, or overhead, you can always count on the Omen. It is an excellent overstable utility driver and a pre-level, high-performance disc for power throwers.

I got this in Ethos plastic to eat headwinds or for shots requiring a high, hyzer bomb up to 280 feet. And the Omen does those things perfectly! With my arm, it's mostly just a utility disc, but whenever it's needed, I'm glad I have it.

Very overstable. Very similar to the Firebird that it replaced in my bag.

I field tested this along with my Felon, since they have very similar flight numbers, and I'd say the ratings for the Omen are spot on. It flew very much like my Felon, just a bit more stable so it didn't go as far -- I think because my Felon has seen enough use now that it's probably more like a 3 or 3.5 Fade instead of a 4. For what these types of discs are made to do, I think the Omen will do it perfectly. Strong forehand throwers who use Firebirds, Felons, and the like will probably really enjoy an Omen as well. The overstability, though, will make this a discouraging choice for beginners (not that there couldn't be situations where it would still be useful to them -- dog leg fairways turns, stiff headwinds). BTW, I love the Ethos plastic: I'm a fan of the Champion-type plastics from the various brands, and it might not be out of the question to say that this is the best of them that I've tried. I haven't had them too long, so I can't yet say how durable it is, but I like the look, feel, grip, and release of all the Ethos-based discs I have -- and the TSA designs are generally pretty cool too. Out in the fairways on sunny days, these almost seem luminescent, they stand out so nicely and brightly.

Like all discs, it will do its own unique thing. The omen flies just fine for a straight fairway driver. But it feels just OK in the hands even with the great plastic. Next to the mint Phoenix I feel like I want to donate this one.  In the field it's a longer stalker or teebird, no felon or respectable firebird. I wanted to like it but I care too much about that hand feeling and found the 177 ginger and mint Phoenix to easily claim this spot in my bag instead.

I have 4 Omens. The Ethos one I have has a significant amount of dome and flies more like a champion Thunderbird. It's the most workable one I have. I have 2 Etherial ones, one is board flat and flies more stable than a firebird and the other one has some dome and its stability is between the flat Etherial one and the Ethos one. The Aura plastic one I have is 166g grams and is board flat and is a vary overstable utility disc. The board flat Omens will fight out of whatever anhyzer you put it on.

Ethos is pretty beefy - a true 9 speed OS beef.  More beef than a Sexton - similar to a Westside Ahti in flight.  The plastic is stunning - well made disc

I've been loving my Ethos Omen! Its workably overstable, and a great compliment to my Sexton Firebird. It feels great in the hand for both forehand and backhand, and works great for flex shots or tricky lines through trees. The Ethos plastic is also one of my favorite plastics in the game, as it's very durable but not incredibly slick when wet. I reach for this when I need the beef of an overstable driver, without the skippy ground action. Get yourself one!

This is a fun disc. First of all, I am mediocre, So my arm speed is not nearly fast enough for the utterly insane fade this disc has. BUT, this has made an amazing utility disc for me! When I'm pinched off and need to get around a corner? I just whip this out flat and let it flare skip around the bend! Need to throw a thumber through some trees? This disc is perfect for it!

Needless to say, If you don't want a meat hook, Don't buy this. But if you want a fun utility disc? BUY IT NOW!

Love the plastic and the stamp. I've been throwing more and more TSA disc's as I get them. This disc is definitely that overstable fairway every manufacturer has and every player needs. You'll notice the rim width is larger then they typical 9 speed which puts it at a 10 speed in my eyes. I think that's what sets itself from the rest of them, if you want slightly more speed/ hand feel this is the disc for you.

I was honestly quite surprised with the overall experience I had throwing the Omen. I did not expect it to be quite as true to the numbers as it was but this disc is quite similar to a firebird, raptor or really any other firebird clone. I really fell in love with the flight because when you ripped really hard you could get a bit of straight flight but very soon after it would dump like crazy. I threw it a couple times on anhyzer forehands and I could get a great long flight that fights hard at the end. It has enough overstability to fight the anhyzer the whole way and still allow for a big skip. The hand feel is where I was most surprised, it felt really really good in the hand. I could backhand this disc very well for it being so overstable and I think that was a lot to do with the comfortable feel. I threw this discs in the glow plastic so I can't say for sure how the other ones fly but I think the Omen was a big one for the Thought Space lineup. If you are on the market for an overstable 9 speed grab the Omen because I know you won't be disappointed.

The stamp on this disc was so awesome i almost didn't even want to throw it! used it on a couple of hard dog leg holes we have around me and it even won me a CTP on a league mini!

I love this disc mine is in Ethos plastic. Out the box it was a 9404 but with how many times it's his the ground hard I'd say it's like a 9403 now. It has more glide than I expected from an over stable disc. Comparing to the Enemy which is also a 9404 this will glide 30-50 feet further for me. Both shots useful but I like this better. It allows me to take a wider line around the tree and still trust the disc with get back to the basket rather than crash in line with the tree.  Hope that makes sense. Over all it's a fantastic disc and I'm going to have to get another.

I bag 2 Omens, one Glow and one Ethos. The Glow Omen is straight beef, while the Ethos one holds pretty nicely before finishing hard. You can get surprisingly good distance out of these for how overstable they are. Being very reliable and predictable when shaping a shot, this disc kicked out the Thunderbird and Firebird out of my bag. The plastic is also super durable so mine haven't changed flight characteristics at all even after hitting countless trees and roots. Can't recommend enough.

This disc is overstable and still difficult for my noodle arm to get to go where I want it. Drifts and fades a lot. Beautiful plastic and stamp though. I'm hoping as I get better this one makes its way into my bag.

Was expecting this to be real beefy, but I would say it's decently straight flying until the end. Doesn't really feel like a firebird. It's comfortable for forehands, but has more dome than most. Honestly I think my glow animus is more overstable.

Love the ethos plastic. Has such a nice grip and looks so good. Definitely my favorite c-type plastic.

Omen is another great disc to fill a super-popular bag slot of the overstable 9-speed. Great plastic and stamps as always from Thought Space. This 1st-run round of Ethos might even be a little grippier and gummier than previous runs. Feels amazing in the hand.

Flight is super similar to my more moderate stability Raptors. Very solidly overstable with no high speed turn. It holds a straight line for quite a while at higher speeds before its reliable dump. Mine also has very impressive glide, though I did grab the domiest one I could find at my local store so take that with a grain of salt.
