The Catalyst can bring huge distance to advanced and beginner players alike, as it remains consistent even when thrown with less power. The Catalyst is more stable than the Orbital, but still an understable disc. Big arms will be able to control rollers and sky anhyzers. Less powerful arms will get great distance with the Catalyst's glide and understability.

As a beginner, this disc is far kinder to me than any other distance driver I've used. I'm amazed at what this disc did for my driving game. I can't wait to improve my skills, and see what this disc can really do!

I bought 2 of these to learn with... how fun!!! I throw forehand and once you put some flick into this bad boy, stand back and marvel how it just gyros through the air!. Super straight with a nice little forward fade - a tunnel shot winner!! Got to throw this with some speed to keep its line, but wow will it travel. Love MVP!!

I don't have a huge arm so this disc is pretty stable for me, I can huck it out to about 350 and it's super straight with a good amount of fade. Usually I'll throw this disc into a headwind to get a little turn out of it or on long downhill drives where my very understable thrasher would just turn right over. Definitely a bit more fade than they have it rated for, all in all a great disc for intermediate players.
