The Innova RocX3 is the most overstable version of the popular Roc midrange. Compared with other Roc versions, the X3 has a low profile and hefty rim that provide it with extra stability. Innova claims that this is the ideal midrange for windy conditions and forehand throws. Power throwers love the consistency and control.

Like many others, I throw a lot of Roc3's. I tend to keep them until they become straight to understable. I've been craving a mid that would beat into a very overstable Roc 3. I think this is it! My particular disc is in Luster plastic. It has that familiar Roc feeling in the hand with a little more beef in the wing and a stiff but grippy feel. The plastic is very pretty. And the Infinite Chinese Warrior stamp just makes me want to rip on this disc. I played an entire round with it and I feel connected already. Predictable, nice glide, no crazy skips. It was pretty breezy but did not matter. I'll be reaching for this disc a lot! It might overlap my Rhino and Tee Bird a little. I can simplify my bag with a Roc X3 by taking 3 others out. But, I probably won't because I seem to like to carry WAY too many discs!
