This disc is one of my favorite discs.  I lost it and had to re-order it that day.  Such a fun disc to throw and will get you great distance.

I love this disc. I can get this thing to go about 350 feet no problem. I'm the type of guy who loves understable discs, and this thing is just the right amount of understable for me. When I throw it on an anhyzer line, it does almost exactly what I want it to do. I have only had the disc completely flip and turn into a roller a select few times, and I chop that up to a bad throw. I also currently own the Valley, and as another reviewer stated, these discs are very similar. If you own the Valley, you probably don't need the Vamp. For me, they hold the same spot in my bag. I think beginners will like the understability of this disc, and more experienced players will be able to utilize this discs for some sweet anhyzer flip shots.

?I chose the Vamp as one of my Birdie Bash discs, and I really did not find a comfort level with it. I found it to be far less understable than the numbers suggest. When I wanted some turn, it didn't turn. I think I had one shot that it flew the way I wanted it to. My second round I didn't throw more than 3 times.

Two of my personal friends and another guy I played with had Vamps as well, and none of them were particularly enamored with it either. Lots of inconsistency with it across the board.

Not really what I was hoping for.

The Vamp is a disc I picked up to see how it would complement the Valley. It's not exceptionally understable, so it's certainly not reminiscent of the unLace. It does, however, offer enough difference from the Valley to make it useful for me. When thrown alongside each other, the Vamp always finishes to the right of the Valley for me, as expected, so it's quite consistent in that. I carry one so that I have a disc that's a bit easier to use on extreme slices than the Valley, and a disc that's likely to carry a bit better with a tailwind. Instead of trying to cycle Valleys (X-Link doesn't work well for that) to have one well-worn disc, I carry a Vamp to provide that sort of effect.

I was expecting the Vamp to be substantially more understable, somewhat more like the fairway version of the UnLace realm of understability. The Orange 169g Vamp I've been throwing is no where near that understable. I guess that spot will happen once the Onyx is released. In terms of flight and stability, I'm not observing much flight difference between the Vamp, the Valley and my beat in Trak.

The Vamp I've been throwing is slightly understable, but it doesn't hyzer flip for me very easily, and it always fades out at the end of the flight, even when I have a fair amount of anhyzer on the disc. The Vamp has a fair amount of glide, but I wouldn't describe it the way Vibram does "that it will stretch your distance to its maximum." There are plenty of other discs that I can get more distance out of with the same or less effort.

For Vibram fans looking for a disc that is slightly more understable than the Valley or Trak, the Vamp is a disc worth purchasing.
