The Trak is Vibram’s straight-flying fairway driver. If you’re looking for a disc that will go the distance and stay on course, this is one to consider. The unique thing about the Trak compared with other drivers is the substance it’s made of. The Track is made from Vibram’s quality X-link blend rubber, which makes it one of the most durable drivers on the market. If you play disc golf in thickly wooded or rocky areas, and trash discs on a regular basis, you may want to consider Vibram.

The Vibram Trak is a very straight fairway driver with good fade. It handles the wind well before completely beaten in and doesn't skip often, giving you a controllable disc that sticks its landing.

I use it for fairway approaches and hyzer spikes. It's great at long approaches, because the rubber compound grabs ahold of the terrain with minimal skip or roll. I like it for hyzer spikes because Vibram discs are nearly indestructible, where other brands will show immediate damage on abrasive landings.

Vibram flight numbers are indecipherable to most people. So, I'd suggest getting a weight to match the intended purpose of the disc. If you want it to be on the overstable side, try a max weight. If you want it straight and fairly neutral, go between 165-170 depending on arm speed. If you want it for hyzer flips or for understable tendencies, lower weights should suffice.

i bought this disc because i wanted to try out vibram and it had good reviews. After playing with it for about 2 months it has become my go to driver (mostly because i lost my champion orc) and i can make it do just about anything but a hyzer flip or an s curve. i would pretty much call this a longer buzzz with more glide. if thrown level with nothing but snap (RHBH) it will hold a straight line for what can seem like ages before a having a moderately strong forward fade but if thrown level with power it will go much further and have less fade i even broke my previous personal distance record of 314' that i set with my dx valkrye throwing the trak 324' over all this probably the best disc i have ever thrown

UPDATE: After playing with this disc even longer and having it beat in a little (yes it does beat it just takes a while and mine is only slightly broken in) it has become more understable than the flight numbers would lead you to believe. if released on a hyzer it will flip up ride a little to the right and have a slight forward fade, if thrown level it will begin riding to the right and finish left about five eights of the way through its flight. it is still by far my favorite disc to throw and as long as it doesn't have a headwind or strong crosswind this disc is AWESOME!

I used to only be able to throw this disc laser beam straight, however, I am getting to where I can put it on laser beam lines left or right as well as turnover shots (all RHBH).

I keep 4 discs & the only other disc I can get close to the lines with is the Buzzz.

Always in my 3 disc bag except @ night (more glow please!).

Lastly, the longevity of this disc seems non stop, it bends, but it goes back to it's original form if you bend it back &/or leave it in warm air for a bit.

Disclaimer: Only been playing about 2 years, average 300' on drives & simply don't have the snap to throw any drivers above 9 ...yet =D

Awesome utility disc and great for tunnel shots.  Flys straight as an arrow for me.  Last week I used it and it got a small cut on the rim similar to a razor cut.  Did not affect the flight at all but I have no idea what it hit, maybe a sharp rock or something.

Grip is superb and I can always count on this disc for a perfectly straight and long upshot!

Havent tried Hyser or Anhyser with this disc, I just pull it when I need a perfectly straight shot!  Has not let me down yet!

One of my favorites in the bag!

Laser beam straight with great glide. The X-link material helps prevent skip aways. Good grip and comfortable in the hand.

Just a really solid disc. It's a bit more understable than I thought it would be, I tend to get some right turn and then enough fade to end a bit left of the original line. It takes power pretty well, and has some pretty decent glide. I love the x-link material too, it feels great in the hand, even when wet, and doesn't skip much, even on longer drives.

I got a Medium Trak, 174 grams from the Birdie Bash. The Vibram rubber feels really nice and I know how durable their discs are. This disc seemed to be similar in flight to the F3, but it was slightly slower. I really liked this disc for sidearm shots, but I don't need this disc in my bag. Backhand throws are pretty stable for me. It usually flies straight for half the flight and then starts to fade into the ground. This flight made it very useful for throwing backhand into the wind to get more distance out of it. This disc is definitely more about control than about distance, possibly due to its lack of glide. Sidearm throws are really great with this disc. At low speeds, it acts very stable and you can count on it to finish to the right. At higher speeds, I did see a small amount of turn and not too much fade back. This could be described as a very neutral flight, which was nice for me because I could trust this disc to finish right where I want it to go. Overall great disc for control and consistency.

I've been throwing the trak for about a week now. mine is a medium X link 170 red white and blue. the track has a nice size rim that is easy to grip and gives lots of control over your throw. for the most part this disc flies very straight with a moderate end of flight fade. but also i found that the trak can be used to make S curve flight patterns. yesterday on a 360 foot down hill throw my trak made a beautiful high speed turn and faded back an equal amount to land just a few feet from the basket, making for an easy deuce. since i was by myself i was throwing my firm lace along side the trak to see how they compared. the trak looked like a snail traveling through the sky compared to the much faster lace, but it was so much easier to control and i really wasn't throwing the lace that much farther. over all i would rate this disc very highly for its easy distance and control as well as its line shaping abilities. i would not hesitate to play an entire round with just this disc. the trak easily found a spot in my bag and do to the awesome durability of the X link material its going to stay there for a long long time.

I'm really loving the Trak. After my first experience throwing Vibram drivers, I wasn't a fan, and gave up on them after a few throws. With the upcoming "Birdie Bash" I've been throwing around a 175g Trak (disc I'll be using for the BB), and have had some very effective results. I love the grip the X-Link rubber provides, and feel I can control this better than other comparable fairway drivers. The Trak is super straight flying, and will turn a little when I put some power behind it, but is stable enough that I can use it for forehand shots as well.

Normally, I really struggle flicking anything that is understable. Despite its realtivley moderate speed (7), I can throw this disc almost as far as I would a faster disc, and with more control. For league play this week I used only the Trak and Ridge in preparation for the Birdie Bash. You'd think my results would have suffered by not having my full bag of familiar discs, but it didn't. In fact, I had one of my best rounds ever at Old Main Hill and scored better than many of the advanced players (I play in the intermediate division). Normally I'll use something overstable when I need a left curving hyzer shot, but was able to easily accomplish this with my Trak by simply throwing it at a hyzer angle. After giving the Trak I second chance I'm a fan.

Love this disc! This disc flies super straight with very little fade and very little skip upon landing. When throwing in normal wind conditions, I release the trak on a slight hyzer angle and it will flip up and turn over slightly and then gently fade back at the end. This gives the trak some great glide and allows it to cover some serious distance. I love throwing this disc in wooded areas with long tunnel shots. A great disc that offers great control in both flight and landing. I usually can throw the trak 300+ ft. (Experience: 2 yrs, average distance with drivers: 300-350.)
