Vibram makes great putters, and the Summit is no exception. Unlike the Ridge and V.P., the Summit is an understable putter that has more turn than it does fade. If you threw the Summit at 40 miles per hour with a backhand throw, it would turn to the right 12 degrees and then fade back to the left 5 degrees. For the average golfer, this is a straight-flying disc that won’t fade much at the end of the flight. The Summit is a great putt and approach disc for beginners.

I got one of these shortly after Vibram started making discs. I've nicknamed it my brick - when thrown it goes straight and sits down there is no turn there is no fade. It's good for turbo putts as well.

I have the summit in X-Link Soft rubber and it blew me away at how flexible this disc is. I use it as an upshot or in heavily wooded areas because the flexibility of this disc absorbs all impact and it never kicks/rolls. If I ever need to turbo putt this is a great disc because of the thumb groove on the bottom of the disc. Because of how soft the rubber is the release is fairly inconsistent while from a good release there is a smooth, understable, predictable flight.

If your like me and you putt with slow arm speed and also put straight at the chains this is what you want. putting slow with this makes that -1 turn dissapear and you get a nice straight putt. however it sucks in the wind unless its a tail wind so you might want to have a second putter like I do thats better sutted for winds like a heavy Sole.

First off this putter is amazing! I've only been playing for a couple months and this disc has done me very well. I have been trying to find that putter since I've started playing that just feels right to me. Since I have gotten this disc my short game has improved tremendously!I have this disc in a 170gm with the soft x link. I think this has been a good decision because I used to only make maybe a 20ft putt somewhat average. Now I can make a 30 footer pretty easily. This thing just grabs the chains and if missed it just hits the ground and stays there. This disc is wonderful for beginners in the soft because if you like grippy discs and tend not to throw to well and are still learning your form get this disc now. I have hit a couple trees in my way and the disc just hits and lands only maybe a few feet from the impact due to the soft x link tacoing easily and planting. All in all if you don't have one of thedse in your bag then get one and give it a putt because your missing out! (Not enough room for words on this disc!
