The Ibex is Vibram’s straight flying midrange golf disc. This disc has very little fade and is perfect for those shots that require a straight flight. The Ibex is stable enough that it avoids turning over even for power throws.

After witnessing my brother nail an eagle from 175-200 ft out I had to give this disc a try.  On one of my first throws I nailed the band and almost aced this on a shorter hole.  Love it so far.

I loved throwing buzz's but then i picked this one up to try and instantly fell in love. I love the grip that te rubber provides and the glide and flight is amazing. I find the firm the rubber the more overstable it is.

Straightest disc in my bag. Literally every time I throw this thing, I'm surprised on how straight it flies. Love this disc for tunnel shots because I know I can trust it. Holds any line you put it on pretty well and can handle some power. I don't bag any Vibram discs beside this one and it's the oldest disc in my bag for a reason.

I originally got this disc as a gift for my "sit down and stay" midrange but once I threw it, I quickly noticed how effortless the accuracy felt. It just leaves my hand perfectly. I got the X-Link med and it's grippy yet not sticky at all. Nice solid feeling with just the right amount of give/flex. Handles power well, goes straight when I need it to, yet super shapeable. Don't be deceived by the rubber, it's got the perfect amount of glide. Very impressed

The Ibex is a versatile midrange, capable of holding a variety of lines. Powered up, it hyzer flips to flat with some fade at the end. Put on a steep or mild hyzer, it holds the line and spikes. Flicks can be tricky; they need low torque and a flat release or it'll turn and burn. It even putts well on short and long putts.

Anhyzer releases depend on power of the thrower and weight of the disc. Lower powered players will need 165g and below for turnover shots to hold the anhyzer angle to the ground. The lower the weight, the more turn and less fade it has. Higher weights are better for flex shots.

The best feature of the Ibex is durability. Vibram discs were made to last a lifetime and they hold their out-of-the-box characteristics for many rounds. Great for wooded courses, or fairways adjacent to roads/parking lots.

The Vibram Ibex is a workhorse mid that fills multiple slots in the bag.

Throwing the Ibex is is easy as it gets. This thing will hold any line you put it on. I use the X-Link Medium compound and love how it flexes to help compensate for excessive wrist movement when releasing. As a beginner I wish I could have thrown this disc to help me better hone in my game. Although the chart shows this disc being understable I have found it to be rather stable. It is essentially like an extremely broken in Buzzz. I would recommend this to anyone of any skill range. Would like to experiment with firm and soft compounds as well.

For me, throwing the Ibex was an instance of love at first throw. I'd been throwing Innova's Shark for a midrange since the Shark appeared on the market. Upon buying a new Shark, I would immediately throw it into fences and posts and into the ground a bunch to beat it in before use. The Ibex won me over by flying like a beat-in Shark immediately. The Ibex is also a bit faster.

In terms of flight characteristics and handling, it offers me everything the Shark did, plus a bit more carry when I need it. I can throw it with hyzer and it'll hold a strong fade line without hooking hard. I can put it on a straight line and it'll hold the line for most of the flight with a predictable fade at the end. I can put it on a slight turnover and it'll fade out of it at the end, predictably. I can use solid anhyzer angles at launch and it'll hold the slice for most of the flight and fade out a bit at the end.

The X-Link Medium compound is easy to grip, even if it gets dusty or wet. I also have an X-Link Soft Ibex, for when I want to stick the landing on hardpan surfaces or hillsides; it's even easier to grip when wet.

Great disc for beginners who will see it fly fairly straight with some slight fade.  For me, I love it as a mid turnover disc that will hold the anhyzer line for a long while and slowly fade out to straighten up as it comes to rest.

I have an Ibex at 168 grams in x-link medium.  I like the material and really love how the one I got looks.  Unfortunately I haven't liked my results on the course with this disc nearly as much.  It seems to act very understable for me and I can't throw it with much power without it turning right.  It is a good disc for holding an anhyzer and going straight on low powered throws, but I was hoping for more stability when I bought it.

I love this disc! Picked one up for the Birdie Bash not realizing that I could only use the two discs that come with players pack. Im not usually a guy that throws mids off of the tee due to power limitations but this disc has really changed that. Brand new the disc flys like a slightly more stable and longer Buzzz and can handle small amounts of wind nicely. Ive used this disc for everything! Drives, putts, rollers, anhyzer, hyzer you name it! Highly recomended disc!

Got this in max weight because that is all the store had and I liked the color.  I typically shy away from max weight as they fly like manhole covers for me.  That being said it does fly straight for me with a controllable fade.   I have some trouble with Anhysers due to the weight which was my fault.  I can shoot an Anny with it but not nearly like I can with other discs.

Love the grip and color so I am waiting for this to beat in.  For now I can use this for straight upshots that require a little fade.  Works well for that!

This disc has won me over in a hurry - it flies very straight, and very far for a mid, more like a fairway driver really. I've been having some great throws with it in the snow, as the grip is unbeatable. The X-link medium shows no signs of wear after a couple tree shots (archer, not arrow), and a road landing. This disc has become a staple for me.

The Ibex is a super straight midrange. It also holds any line that you put it on!! This has become my go to midrange and I'm so glad I took a chance. The durability of these discs are above and beyond.
