The Votum is such a great woods disc and even a distance bomber. I throw it as far as my distance drivers in Aura plastic. The Glow version is WAYYY more overstable and maybe the most used driver in my bag because it is so reliable. It's like a 7 speed Firebird in Glow. In contrast, in Aura, it is a straight flying bomber with reliable fade.

I have been loving TSA discs and I love this disc.  It flies very straight with reliable finish. I can throw it on anny and it will still fight back.  I did find that the Aura is a little less stable than the Ethos plastic that I had.  This is most noticable on forehands.  I get a lot more turn out of the Aura.

The Votum is a great Teebird-esque disc offered from TSA.  Similar to other reviewers, I had hoped for more torque resistance from the Votum.  I bought the Aura and when released hard and flat it was flexing a little.  Still a very desirable shot shape, but not what I was looking for.  So, from prior knowledge that TSA's most stable plastic is Glow I bought me a glow Votum as well.  The glow Votum is exactly what I was looking for!  Mine was board flat, and torque resistant.  It flies like a slower NS Firebird having a good straight initial flight and a nice dependable fade when it slows down.

I really like this disc. It is a bit less stable than the numbers state. This disc has reliable fade and pushes straight for a majority of its flight.

The disc I would compare this to is a broken in Star Teebird. Will fly straight with a mild to moderate fade at the end. Stated fade of 3 is way too much. This is a good go to fairway disc for any situation because it will hold most lines you put it on. I personally only use this for backhands so cannot comment on it as a forehand disc.

This was a disc I received as a random disc.

I was eager to test it since I never used TSA Discs before this, and man was it fun! This is a workhorse disc that will fly straight with a slight and consistent fade at the end. The Aura disc was not as stable as the numbers suggest, my guess is it's more of a baseline type disc. I will say that after a couple months of throwing, this disc became a little too beat up to throw well, The Aura plastic gets damaged easily, hit a tree? it'll take a chunk out of it....

But overall, this is a good disc, I just might try it in a more premium plastic to see how it fares!

The votum was a disc that I did not throw enough when I had the chance and yet it left me wanting to throw it more than any other disc. From the few throws I had with the votum I found it to be exactly how other people described it, "The big brother of the pathfinder". This disc probably can join that list of must try 7 speed workhorse control drivers. I enjoyed the feeling of the votum in my hand as I love the feel of 7 speeds. The flight was exactly like the pathfinder where if thrown flat it would fly about 80% straight and fade at the end consistently everytime. When you ripped it on hyzer you could trust it would hold that hyzer the whole and and go way left, on an anhyzer it would pan to flat and at the end of the flight start to stable out. I think the votum could take over in anyones bag if they enjoy the straight but stable control driver. I would compare it to an instinct, teebird, or eagle type disc.

I have 3 Votums now. An Ethereal with a dome, Aura with dome, Aura without dome. All high 160s. This is a great straight-stable fairway driver. On drives with ~350ft power they all demonstrate a very slight high speed turn but always come back in the end. The Ethereal being slightly more overstable than the Auras. The domey ones display excellent glide, while the flat one obviously sinks a little faster. I do disagree with the speed rating though. This disc is very clearly a 7 speed, as its rim is even about 0.5mm narrower than many other 7 speeds like the F5. Phenomenal stamps and plastic as always!

I have this disc in all plastics, though i have only thrown the aura and the Ethereal plastics. First off the stamps are top notch as they always are from TSA and my rating does not reflect my opinions on the stamps, but just how they feel in the hand and throw.

Personally i would say that this disc feel similar to a Thunderbird, in terms of both flight path and hand feel. So if you like MVP plastics more than innova plastics this is a great disc to get. the Aura is similar to the neutron plastic, the Ethereal is Electron, and ethos is Proton.

Where this disc is not beginner friendly is that if the nose in not down on the disc it will dump on you. where as if you get the nose down the disc will fly straight with a slight amount of turn and then have a pretty reliable fade. From a forehand perspective the disc is somewhat torque resistant and you can get a little flip up on heavily off axis forehand throws without the disc turning into a throller.

Get the disc the stamps are choice, and as long as you can throw the disc right your results will be very consistent

First impressions are this thing is beefy for my intermediate arm. The Aura plastic feels amazing, very stiff and tacky. On a flat backhand I saw almost zero turn (max distance approximately 375' for me) and a very reliable forward pushing fade. My flick is a bit more powerful and released flat maybe a slight turn before a reliable finish.

Overall if you're looking for a reliable, torque-resistant, thunderbird-esque disc with great feeling plastic and amazing artwork, look no further. Numbers are pretty spot on now that they adjusted to 8.5,5,0,2

Was hoping for a wider rim OS fairway. Feels very similar to a teebird. Has a little bit of turn in lighter weights.

artwork and plastic are great as always

Wants to be stable, not beginner friendly unless you're just looking for a hyzer disc. Nice slow turn in the glide.

When I first saw this disc I was super drawn to the artwork as I'm sure a lot of people can say about thoughtspace discs. The stamp is super cool and the triple foil makes it even better.

That being said this disc so far fills a slot in my bag that I've been looking for for a while. I've been looking for that slightly higher speed hybrid driver that's straight to overstable but not quite as beefy as my felons. I've tried using thunderbirds here but they've always been just a bit too overstable for what I want to use them for. The votum is that nice perfect stability level where I could throw it into a slight headwind without it turning over but it's also controllable and I can get some distance out of it on a calmer day. So far I've really been liking the flight and I'm looking forward to how the votum beats in.

This brings me to the last point and what I believe to be the most important for me. There's a lot of slightly overstable 9 speed discs out there, so the feel of a disc is what's the most crucial part of deciding what to bag in my opinion. That's where the votum really shines. The plastic is firm and grippy, but it isn't too firm - the flight plate still has some give to it. The rim is the perfect size, it's not super big or small it's just the right size and shape to feel super confident in my hand. Lastly there is very little dome in mine which I love; I like a very flat disc because it feels great for both my forehand and backhand grip, but I do know that others may not feel the same so be warned.

Overall I'm really liking the votum and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to fill that slightly overstable hybrid driver slot but haven't had a lot of luck throwing things like the thunderbird.

Just threw this disc for the first time today. The Aura plastic feels great and it's mostly flat. Rim size also feels very comfortable.

My first throw with it I released on anhyzer and ripped it around 320 feet. It held the angle most of the way and fought out at the end. My first sidearm throw with it I released flat and it turned quite a bit before fading back a little bit at the end. Seems to be very touchy for sidearm throws.

Overall, very happy with this disc so far. Now I have a dynamite duo with the Votum and Mantra!

TSA plastic might just be my favorite plastic in all of disc golf. It looks and feels good, and the three foil Thoughtspace artwork just make these good looking discs.

The Votum is a good throwing control driver with a mostly straight flight and a consistent fade. It has a moderate width rim and a mostly flat top with a very mild dome. I like throwing this disc both forehand and backhand.

If you're looking for a stable, consistent fairway driver, and like the Thoughtspace brand, try out the Votum. It just might become your new go to control driver.
