The Pathfinder is an excellent midrange that can be counted on for a consistent, straight flight down the fairway with only minimal end fade. Its excellence in flight can only be matched by the beauty of the plastic and stamps.

I own 3: Ethos, Glow, Aura.

Ethos beats in fast, starts to go straight and even get some turn after some use.  I cannot depend on the original fade.  At this rate, you're better off with a Mana if you can find one in Aura, as it's glider.

Glow's stability is in-between the two others, true to numbers.  I don't use it as much so won't comment on durability.  However my Glow Mana did beat in quite fast.

Aura is the most overstable of the 3, more like a 6402, but it beats in nicely to a 6501.  This has become my favorite of the 3.

This is potentially my favorite disc of all time. I was looking for a disc that flies like the Mako3 did when I first started, and this is it and then some. This disc will hold whatever line you put it on, and can handle a bit more power than similar straight shooters. Soft hyzers will hold without dumping, thrown flat it will go dead straight and fall forward with very minimal fade, and thrown on anhyzer it floats lazily to the right (RHBH) but doesn't burn over or fight out of it unless thrown with a lot of touch.

Potentially the best part about this disc is that any issue with the flight is absolutely user error and can be identified quickly. This is my favorite disc for identifying issues with my form. Are you turning your wrist over on release? Throwing nose up? Early or late release? This disc isn't going to hide any of those issues and is an incredible diagnostic tool.

Just buy one, you won't regret it.

One of the best mid ranges in the game! The moment i started throwing the pathfinder i knew it was the ONE! The quailty of feel and flight from these things is unmatched! Pick it up in any plastic and you can't go wrong! Pretty much all i have to say about this one is GET SOME! What are you waiting for!?

I think I've found my new best/favorite straight-flying midrange! I field tested this with a few similar mids and, excluding a low release into the ground, or an instance where the wind picked up and carried a couple others way off to the right (but slightly farther), the Pathfinder was consistently going farther than the others, and holding the straightest line. I love the Ethos plastic, btw: I'm a fan of the Champion-type plastics from the various brands, and it might not be out of the question to say that this is the best of them that I've tried. I haven't had them too long, so I can't say too definitively how durable it actually is, but I do like the look, feel, grip, and release of all the Ethos-based discs I have -- and the TSA designs are generally pretty cool too. Out in the fairways on sunny days, these almost seem luminescent, they stand out so nicely and brightly. Great disc for the bag!

This disc is just beautiful. One of the most comfortable feels ever. No sharp edges or corners. The stamp is awesome like most other thought space discs. The flight to me is like a buzzz with more glide. This one is hard to beat. I am a huge buzzz fan but this is the first to give the buzzz a run for its money

In my opinion, the Thought Space Pathfinder has the best feel on the market. Comfortable, grippy, It feels like it was made just for me! For the flight, it will be very straight to slightly overstable for the majority of players and depending on the plastic type. See why I am so hyped to show you the Pathfinder!

Replaced both my Buzzes (Z and bigZ) and an old Shark too (for now, while it's new).  The nose is more rounded than a Buzzz (which has a blunt nose), likely accounting for the extra distance.

This thing has amazing glide.  Immediately was a real pleasure to throw.  Flight is kind of a cross between a Buzzz and a Shark.  Same throw, same line, this gets easy distance compared to a Buzzz, allowing to increase accuracy.  I might still use my Buzzes for closer approach shots, and use the Pathfinder for the farther approaches (but on some days, the Buzzes stay at home now, as they've become redundant and aren't as good for longer approaches).

The Pathrinder goes straight, and has a nice predictable fade.  I've gotten it into the chains on some of my first throws with it, from a good distance.  It does good in a moderate wind too.

It's kind of like a miracle disc.  I chose Ethos plastic so that it retains it's properties for as long as possible.

It's like a buzzz, but with easy glide. Great straight flying workhorse mid. TSA's plastic feels great and the art is always incredibly cool

LOVE this disc. Flies dead straight on flat with a very small fade at the end of the flight, or holds any other angle you put it on.

I was between this disc and the Finish Line Supra for a while, but this disc ultimately won out.  Both are excellent discs, and the two are very similar in terms of flight, but the pathfinder ended up being a little bit more comfortable in my hands. My releases with this disc feel incredibly consistent, and the reliable flight means I know what it is going to do every time I pull it out of the bag.  I find myself reaching for this one more than anything else at the moment!

I've only had this disc for a few days, but just after one round it has been my Go to disc.  I even was using it for some of my.putts and it felt great. Whatever angle I release it hold it holds and seems to carry. For longer than I had expected by a lot l, then a pretty gentle fade down. So far I have found it to be very consistent and reliable. I can't think of a disc I felt impressed me instantly as much as the pathfinder has done. I was not expecting it, but I definitely think anyone who picks one of these up will also fall in love with this disc.

I have said it before and I will say it again.  Thought Space has some of the coolest stamps and the best feeling plastic around, and the Pathfinder is no exception.  In terms of flight the Pathfinder is awesome.  It is a straight flying mid, but in my experience you can power this disc up a lot more than other straight mids and still get the same flight.

This is such a great disc.  It has quickly become one of my favorite mids.  I think the numbers are on, and though stable it has a gentle fade making it very easy to shape and reliable.  It feels great forehand, and has really helped improve my RHFH.  It is also a beautiful disc.  Great looking stamp and nice subtle burst in the plastic.  Will be picking up another for sure.

I love this mid-range, It is very accurate and it has a very smooth flight. This disc flies straight and then slightly fades at the end of the flight. I can always count on this disc to be accurate with a little fade. I recommend this disc for beginners as well as experienced players.

The TSA Pathfinder is a super solid midrange. It is really similar to the Discraft Buzzz in both flight and feel. It has a flat top and very gradual rounded rim, not quite as square as a Buzzz. I love throwing this discs for straightline midrange shots both backhand and forehand. It has a very gently fade at the end of the flight and works well for fading hyzer shots where you need a lot of drift.

With Buzzzes being so rare right now, the Pathfinder is a great Buzzz alternative, and you can't beat the beauty of the Thoughtspace designs.

The Pathfinder looks amazing, that's the first thing to notice. Right out of the box, it flies pretty straight with a nice little finish at the end. It can handle a surprising amount of power without turning and burning. It may slide a little to the understable side, but it always seemed to finish straight or with a little fade at the end.

The rim feels great, the plastic feels incredible, and the disc just looks so good. Really, it's not anything too new as far as flight goes... but the looks alone will make you throw better (at least that's what I tell myself). Overall, it's a great dependable midrange for all situations on the course.

There are a lot of good mid-range discs on the market, so I was not expecting too much variation when I took the Pathfinder out for a spin in Ethos plastic. I was surprised in a couple of ways. For one, this disc really goes surprisingly straight. I kept expecting more fade, especially when putting a little height on it, but the fade is extremely minimal, if at all. Also, I found myself overthrowing my target the first couple of times because this disc has a sneaky long glide. It just keeps going. It is quite a bit like the popular Buzzz by Discraft and has the potential to become an elite mid as well. Now that I know what I'm playing with, I can even use this disc in the fairway driver slot if I want a long, straight flight with little side-to-side movement. It is a great disc for players at any level.

    Ethos Plastic, 177+

    Look and Feel:

A little stiffer than I'd like. Same/similar plastic as MVP Proton or Mint Eternal. Plastic is gorgeous though. Very translucent with beautiful sparkles. Some of the best swirls in the game. Can't speak to how the plastic will break in, though I'd expect it to beat in similarly to my Mint Bobcats, which have gotten beautifully gummy and tacky over the last year while still retaining stability. With a slight dome, in the hand it feels just like the Mint Eternal Mustang or Z Buzzz. Comparing the wing and PLH to the Mustang (which is also molded by MVP), the Pathfinder is nearly identical, with a slightly lower PLH and a slightly faster/more rounded nose. The differences are minute but present if you look for them.

    Flight:

In flight, the Ethos Pathfinder is significantly straighter than the previously mentioned discs. Out of the box, it flies very straight with a soft late fade. Others have compared the flight to a Mako3, and I don't see it. This disc is not nearly as touchy and doesn't have nearly the glide of the Mako3. It will hold turn out of your hand and slowly pan out, but thrown hard and flat it shows almost no turn and a fair amount of soft fade. Thrown on a wide firm anny, this disc will hold the line the entire flight, flattening out as it goes. Thrown on a low hyzer, the disc will hold that line and finish on the angle you released it. I'd say the glide is a little less than advertised given its small diameter and stiff plastic. This may be different in the Aura/Ethereal plastics. This disc in Ethos plastic can handle considerable power, at least while brand new. I'd compare flight to a fresh max weight ESP Buzzz.

Think tad more stability and dependability mako3 and tick less stable than a Buzz.
