The Mana, by Thought Space Athletics, is an understable midrange for when you want to land in the opposite direction of the usual fade. It's a great utility disc for getting around objects on the course, and a great beginner disc as well.

This is a great US mid. It is understable, but not crazy touchy, meaning it will be somewhat forgiving of slightly off form or timing. Thrown flat it has a nice gradual turn with no comeback. Give it some hyzer and it will flip up and turn before giving a little baby fade at the end. It has great glide, and if you have a nice tailwind it can fly very straight for a surprisingly long distance. It's a very good disc.

    ETHOS SOFT and GLOW

I own 2 Manas, a Glow and an Ethos Soft, and they are quite different.

The glow is true to numbers, has astonishing glide (within 3 feet of gstar Leopard), but beats in really quick, becoming more understable than a new Lobster.

The Ethos Soft, to my great disappointment, is extremely understable right out of the box.  Only suitable for short throws. I would have loved this disc during my first couple of months playing, when I was just starting out. And that's who I'd recommend the Ethos Soft to: new players, with 0 seasons under their belt. Or as a loaner to introduce others to the sport. It's a nice plastic, soft, flexible, grippy, but they would need a new mold for this one if they intend to make regular runs of it.

I also have 3 Pathfinders in different plastics, and although they're reputed to have good glide, you ain't seen nothing yet, until you've experienced the Mana's glide.

Noticeably understable without being unusable or requiring a lot of touch. Hyzerflips to straight for tunnel shots, or thrown flat will have a floaty turn for the duration of the flight. An absolute workhorse mid that will get you out of a lot of sticky situations where a very touchy forehand would normally be required. If you're looking for a crazy understable hyzerflip to late turnover disc, you'd likely be better off with a Meteor or Paradox.
