Pretty good mid-range disc. I feel like its a little more understable, but will definatly get you close to the target every time.

This are my favorite discs in my bag. I can throw my Antidotes farther than most of my drivers. I am sure that says a lot (of bad things) about my technique and arm strength, but the truth remains. I can throw this disc farther than almost any other disc. Not only do I get serious distance from a mid-range, I have extremely predictable placement. I simply trust my Antidotes. I don't even think about which disc to throw on the 200-250 ft. holes. I always throw the antidote and I am always in the circle.

I know that a lot of people have panned the disc in earlier reviews. I think the problem was too much power. The Antidote wants very little power, yet it will fly forever.

The antidote is a solid understable mid with a lot of glide.

I've been throwing a 174g Cryo Antidote on and off now for a few months. I like the feel of the Cryo plastic, but my hand doesn't love the thin domey shape of this mid. The Antidote is definitely more understable than the flight ratings indicate, but could still be a very useful disc for many new disc golfers.

I compared this midrange side by side with the Innova Foxbat, and it's a lot less stable. I'm not exactly a powerful thrower, but this is a disc that doesn't handle my full power throws. It turns and burns really easily when I try to throw it with all my might. The reality is that most of the time I use midranges, especially understable mids, I'm not throwing full power. For low power straight line throws and approach shots the Antidote performs very well. For these shots it flys very straight. The Antidote is also a great disc if you need to throw really high in the air, like to go over a tree, and still want to stay straight. I'm giving this one 3 stars and am not keeping it in my bag anymore, but for the recreational player who only uses one disc, this is probably a really good choice.

wow i dont understand all of the hate for this disc..I received one for free when i purchased a catalyst bag from salient ( great bag) and i have been throwing it a little, it feels awesome in my hand the grip is amazing it is pretty darn straight with very little fade at the end, when i put a little anny on it it will hold that line very nicely you cant put too much though or it will crash.. basically i carry several mid range disc and did not expect to like this enough to keep it in the bag but it keeps surprising me so for now at least it has a spot...amazing plastic

I acquired a 174 Cryo recently. For me, it went straight only when released on hyzer and at low arm speed. Thrown slow and flat this is a disc that has lots of lethargic gliding turn. At full power this disc is impossible to keep straight, even when thrown with over exaggerated hyzer. I didn't like the flight of the disc as much as the texture. Cryo might be the best plastic I've ever held. It felt like throwing a disc made of tough hardened fruit roll up. I might try another Cryo disc, but they'd have to make a mold that's useful.
