My Flight Ratings: 2/3/0/2 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

RPM released a couple of great molds in 2022, the Takapu being one of those great additions. This is a classic beadless putter with a great handfeel, predictable flight, and comes in a wide variety of plastics. It is very Aviar like.

As a throwing putter, this mold will hold straight with a firm throw, then have some late stability in it's flight in Strata and Magma plastics. I find that it is more overstable in premium plastic blends, and can count on my Cosmic Takapu to fight the wind a bit on approach shots. I bag an Atomic for power drives.

This disc shines as RPM's signature putting putter in my eyes with it's predictable performance and classic shape. For a brand that has some unique molds with interesting flight characteristics, this disc is a statement that says "Yeah, we can nail the classics, too."

Flight numbers are true in my opinion. Pick it up, you won't regret it.
