    Apex Details

    Apex plastic is a premium blend designed for optimal grip. This plastic is similar to Streamline Neutron or Innova Star plastic.  While Apex plastic may not be as durable as Eternal, it has a great feel and tends to provide outstanding glide.

    The Apex Grackle is a very good but not necessarily special fairway driver. It can do anything you would want a workhorse driver to do quite well, but not exceptionally. My disc is pretty true to its numbers when thrown flat, though truthfully it seems to have a bit less overall fade and turn, but the ratio of fade and turn seems about right. It can fight wind fairly well, handles many different angles quite nicely, and is predictable in its flight. All in all its a very good disc and could be a workhorse fairway for many people.
