The #2 Helix is one of the fastest flying discs in the Lightning line. This disc is overstable, with some high speed turn at the front of the flight allowing for some great helix (S-curve) shots when thrown with power at an anhyzer angle. Lightning recommends this disc for advanced players. In Lightning’s Standard plastic in lower weight ranges, it floats.

This is a cheap disc.  It sort of feels cheap, and you might question it right away.  However, I was pleasantly surprised.  I have also thrown the #2 Hookshot a bunch.  These discs, with finesse, throw great.  I always have one in my bag.  It's not for every shot and often not for the smartest shot, but this and the Hookshot are incredibly fun to throw.  They glide, they flip up nicely, they have more distance than you would expect.  All in all...excellent!

There are grooves on the inside rim, but they aren't deep and aren't a bother to me at all.  In fact, I feel like the grooves feel kind of good.  Fun discs...inexpensive...and useful.

Picked it up because it was cheap and glows. I wish I threw it enough to get a good read on it, but Lighting puts these weird raised grooves on the inner rim that made it the most uncomfortable disc i have ever used, by the 3rd throw my fingertips were raw. 2 stars because I don't think its garbage and some may not have issues with the grooves, but unusable for me
