This disc is a great straight to stable fairway. If I hit it hard, or there's headwind, it'll turn/flip but for the most part it's dead straight with a tad bit of fade. This blend of plastic feels amazing, very grippy and stiff.

If you're looking for a Swiss army fairway, I definitely recommend this, and any rival you can get your hands on.

This disc is my go-to disc for whenever i have no idea what to throw. 250 feet to 375 feet. This is it. Immense amount of glide with a dependable fade at the end makes it fantastic! In a Luster style plastic, its stability holds up for longer than a normal Pinnacle Rival would. Currently bagging 3 of these bad boys, ranging from brand new, to my go to, to dead straight getting beat in. If I find more, i will buy more.

I was able to pick this disc up as a reward from tournament hosted by Legacy Discs.

For me, this disc flies very straight, with very little turn and moderate fade. Thrown full power, it will flip up just slightly, hold the line for over 300' before it begins to fade. I've found this disc to be most reliable on a wide flat shot, looking for a reliable fade/stall to the basket.

The plastic looks and feels great, and in my experience is like a slightly grippier champion plastic. My particular disc is a dark grey, with some slight shimmer and some sort of flaking (metal flakes perhaps?) throughout. I imagine this is how they were able to get some more stability out of the disc for Drew's power.

Compared with other rivals thrown by friends of mine, this is significantly more stable even with significantly more power. For beginners, I feel there are better plastics for this mold, but for advanced players this disc is superb and fills an important slot in my bag.

Speed 7's are my jam! Anything with less than 2mm rim width just feel comfortable in my grip. I love my River from Lat64 but I was tired of the unpredictability/understability they had in any kind of wind. Legacy just dropped the Phantom Warrior when I started my search for a stable 7. I picked one up and used it on every hole. Fell in love immediately. Holds its line in everything but heavy wind. Picked up 2 Rivals to round out the bag and find the  Phantom Warrior just a tad straighter.

When I lost my Rival a year ago I went on a search to find something to replace it instead of just buying another Rival. I tried an explorer and it was nice but just didn't like the feel in my hand. Enter the phantom warrior, once I saw the stamp and this was a tweaked rival mold in a special plastic I knew I had to get one. Has one of the sickest stamps on a disc I might add. But onto the review the throws I have thrown with this has made me realize how much I missed having a depending workhorse 7 speed in the bag. I can rip on this thing hard and it stays straight if I get a little more torque I can get a small hint of turn out of it, but it has enough fade to come back and has a very nice forward penetrating fade to it to get that extra distance. I would say for a beginner it would probably be more stable to overstable cause they may not have the arm for it yet. But if you have been playing a little while and ready to steap up to a dependable fairway I would have this at the top of the list if you want to try a workhorse fairway and not wanting to throw something made my Innova. Legacy has some really nice discs and plastic on the market. My numbers are 7/-0.2/2

The DX Teebird was one of my first discs and it was amazing for a starter. I have since thrown Star and GStar Teebirds, a Star TL, and an Opto Explorer. I can say the Phantom Warrior is probably my favorite in this class.

The first impression was it was a little too domey as a primary forehand thrower but it is comfortable in the hand. It is point and shoot straight with minimal fade. I believe that anyone who is looking for a straight fairway driver/Teebird class disc should give this a shot.

    Also, the disc looks amazing!

I started the game with a DX teebird and i've thrown Teebirds my entire time playing disc golf. To say it is my comfort disc in an understatement, and when i heard of what Legacy does with Rivals i was always curious knowing that they were considered as good as some of my best Teebirds. The Phantom warrior feels very similar to a Teebird to me being based on the rival that makes sense it generally had a very flat profile to it in the max weight. The plastic feel on this disc is almost excessively stiff which bodes poorly in the 4 season climate i live in but I did get to throw it on a warmer day as well as some below freezing days. My Phantom Warriors are 175g max weight.

The Phantom Warrior was a little surprising for me. Knowing Drew is a power player i came into this disc with a preconception this disc would be massively overstable and this disc is quite the opposite it is a super straight flying hold any angle disc fresh out of the box. The Phantom warrior has a very nice long straight flight with a gentle fade at the end and it has very workable high speed stability, i found myself able to put this disc on a considerable anhyzer and it would pan out very nicely while not cutting my shots short when throwing on Hyzer. The hand feel on this disc seems to be more shallow than my Teebird3's and even my flat top AJ teebirds but maintained a similar level of stability, so if you aren't a fan of the taller profile this would be a great fit. This disc forehand doesn't quite have the torque resistance i thought it would but if your forehand is smooth it will glide fantastically for you.

The Phantom Warrior handles most wind conditions with ease, i found it stood up well into a headwind and had great glide for tailwind shots as well.

The phantom warrior might be a bit more overstable than necessary for a beginner but this disc will last a long time (assuming you don't lose it) and i would say this would be a fine first driver for most players if they want something that has that very stiff hand feel, otherwise a Rival in another plastic (or teebird for that matter) would be a great substitute.

Overall, the Phantom Warrior is a pretty good disc. I feel as though the plastic feel for me is really what holds this disc back from near perfect scores as its very stiff feel limits the time I personally would be willing to use it to only the summer months in my area which is not as useful to me when I play year round. If you don't have a problem with the very stiff feel of this disc it is one heck of a flyer for a speed 7 and should definitely be something you pick up.
