Looking for a putter that will close the gap from ‘just missed’ to ‘in the basket’? Try the Clozer. The Excel Edition of the Legacy Clozer is a very firm overstable putter, with a beaded rim.  In Icon plastic, this disc is a little softer with a slightly better grip.

After using Prowlers as my throwing putters for 3 years I decided to give the Clozer a try and I am so glad that I did. After about 10 rounds using Clozers, they have kicked the Prowlers out of my bag. More resistant to turn, and amazing for forehand approaches, the Clozer has become my go-to approach disc. The Icon will hold a 250 foot hyzer both forehand and backhand, while the Protege flies dead straight for me and is perfect for soft turnovers. The depth is probably average for a putter but the super flat top is what makes these so comfortable to throw. Definitely give one a try if you're on the market for a stable putter that flies similarly both forehand and backhand.

    • This putter is a fantastic disc.  Just got one as part of the Legacy Battle of the Aces event my local club put on.  The vast majority of shots were made with this disc over the unreleased disc.  Just about everyone had great things to say.  Not sure which plastic we received but the disc itself felt very nice to throw.  First time I'd thrown so many shots with a putter for these distances and it definitely is taking the place of my Magnet as an approach putter.  Flies very straight and very balanced hyzers.  No aces, but I was consistently parking this thing closer to the chains than guys with a lot more experience than me.  Only downside, stuck with another boring white disc
