    Retro Burst Details

Retro Burst is a special run of Latitude 64's Retro plastic featuring color bursts throughout the plastic. Retro plastic was designed for players who wanted to be reminded of the old school plastic from disc golf in the 80's. This baseline plastic easily "breaks in" and is very affordable.

I used to throw Innova Teebird many years ago, and since getting back into disc golf a couple years ago, just haven't been able to find a Teebird that flies like the old ones I used to throw. Then I got this Explorer. I can throw this on really torque heavy forehand lines and it turns just slightly before flexing back and finishing right, or give it a full power backhand and trust it not to turn over. It's just overstable enough to be perfect. I chose a Retro Burst because I live in ND and it is still very cold out, so the softer feel yet stiff plastic is great. It is the same plastic as DD Prime Burst.
