The K1 Stig is a wonderfully glidey easy to throw mid/fairway hybrid. It rewards smooth backhand throws with very easy distance and does so without being extremely touchy. Thrown flat with calm wind conditions it will fly with a gradual turn for most of its air time and end with a nice baby fade. On hyzer flips it will flip up to flat and turn and fade fairly equally, creating a very straight overall throw. Its not the best in headwinds, but get a nice tailwind and this disc can glide into fairway driver range with ease.

This was my first experience with the Kastaplast brand and its K1 plastic. I'm quite pleased with it: The plastic feels like Latitude 64's Gold line, with a tad more grippiness. Hopefully it holds up with wear over time. I like how the Stig feels in the hand and it releases smoothly. I find no flashing or other imperfections from its manufacturing. It feels and flies more like a fairway driver to me rather than a midrange: It has a slimmer profile and tended to out-distance the most similarly rated mids I have (5/5/-2/1) -- and it showed more fade at the same power level. It has the same flight numbers as the Leopard, but displays more stability than the Leopard's -2/1 and definitely more than the -3/1 of the two other 6-speeds I happen to have. (My disc is 175g, so lighter discs will likely fall back into the -2/1 rating.) Beginners may get more distance initially from a disc with a little more understability, but this would still be an easy disc to pick up on and give them a workable, stable disc that suits their power and that they would still find useful for quite some time as their skill level increases.

Same category as a Gstar Leopard, similar distance, except it's more domey, and the K1 feels like a better gstar plastic. 

I did see that turn and fade on occasion, but not the unbelievable glide that has been hyped by some of the influencers.  Glide is normal good.

Averaged out from all my throws with it, I'd give this more of a -1 / 0 flight, like a longer Fuse or longer Wombat3.  Sometimes you get not so much turn and 1 fade, and thrown a bit farther it might have all turn and no fade. There is a very fine separation line between the two scenarios and I found it hard to guess what I'm going to get.     It's not a bad disc, I love K1 plastic, but I ended up giving it to my noob gf and keeping the gstar Leopard, which seems easier to throw and control, with similar distance, for that slot. 

This disc was given to me by my brother after a trip to play the New World courses and he was fired up to buy some new discs. It is a real winner. Thrown at 6 speed power and flat it is VERY straight with a slight turn, about a -1 for me, and slight fade. With more power it will turn more but seems resistant to turning all the way over. On (slight)  anhyzer it will hold the line and flatten out by the end with very little fade. You dont need to throw this hard to get good controllable distance. Less turn than a star Leopard but more than a Relay. Straighter than both although I do love the Leopard. Need to hit that tight gap and land straight grab the Stig.

Feels good in the hand and what more needs to be said about the K1 palstic. This is a wonderful disc and a home run from Kastsplast.

The stig is an odd disc. It has the forgiveness and control of a mid with the distance of a fairway. For my arm speed it goes dead straight up to 300 feet. Even if I power down it still goes straight with little to no fade. It also does a great job holding hyzer and anhyzer lines. My go to for tight fairways. Pair it with a kaxe and you are set for most of your mid and fairway needs (except overstable/utility). 

The Stig is a great controlable disc that will ride any line that you put it on. It was more stable than I expected it to be, but that only means that it will wear into exactly what I want it to be. This disc is great on hyzer flips and turn overs!

In my hand, it feels slightly faster than other 6 speeds that I've thrown, but it's still comfortable in a fan grip for me. The slightly faster nature means I have to throw it harder than I feel like I want to to get the flight I want, but it's still very controllable.

I have bagged this disc for a very long time and that is because it is just so useful. It glides forever and becomes more understable over time, but hyzer flips like butter and can be forced over on big pushing turnovers. 

Very touchy to wind, and release angle, but luckily you don't have to throw this disc hard so you can really focus on angle control. I would recommend to any beginner and any player that plays woods golf. I compare it pretty close to a Moonshine Air Seer, with a little more rounded rim. 

Some say this disc is a slow fairway driver.  And others say it is a glidey midrange.  All we know is, it's called the Stig.

This disc is the definition of point and shoot.  It also will help you see your flaws in disc angle because whatever angle you give, it'll hold.  We talk a lot about discs that hold lines, but the Stig almost flies like a super fast ultimate frisbee.  Not much turn, not much fade.  

If you really get on it, you can get it to flip over to that -2 level, but for normal speed 6 kind of shots, this is laser straight.

The other thing abotu this disc is the glide.  The combination of fariway driver speed with midrange glide is a potent recipe indeed.  For low ceiling dead straight shots between 250 and 350, I'm usually reaching for the Stig.  

Beginners will love this thing because it flies like a frisbee and helps you learn how to throw a disc golf disc properly.  

I was missing a spot in my bag for both an understable 5 and 7. I got the Stig hoping to fill both spots and it has been great! Nice smooth turn before flattening out a little before it lands. It fills my 7-speed slot better than my 5-speed slot. The disc has so much glide that it just keeps going farther than what I would want for a disc in the 5-speed category. This is not a complaint though! I love the glide and shot shape from this!

The flight is pretty similar to a Leopard, but I like the feel and shape of the Stig much more!

This is my first Kastaplast disc and I have been very impressed with the feel and quality of the K1 Line plastic. I can see why Kastaplast has such a large following! 

AMAZING. Super straight disc that will turn slightly right (RHBH) in the middle of its flight, and then have a slight fade back to the left. The turn happens after half the flight, so it is a late flipper. Wonderful for tight, narrow, low ceiling gaps in the woods. 

I really love this disc. It is a great replacement for the Kaxe Z. I never felt the Kaxe Z was enough of a departure from the regular Kaxe. This disc is definitely a departure flight-wise, but it maintains the same feel. It is a hybrid mid-fairway disc with just a ton of glide. I can always throw this straight and use it for big turnovers that never burn over. I would almost call this 6 6 -1 1 but I have a noodle arm so hard to be sure.
