The Kastaplast Grym X in K1 Soft offers a flexible, tacky grip that supports confident throws in cooler weather or when extra hold is needed. This blend typically flies slightly straighter out of the hand while maintaining the mold’s reliable fade. Players who prefer a softer premium feel will find the Kastaplast Grym X highly workable in this plastic.

I have the Grym X in K1 soft plastic.  The plastic feels great, very good grip and I like the flexibility the disc has.  However I was not impressed with the flight of the Grym X.  It is more understable than the flight numbers suggest, and I would often turn it over when thrown too hard on a hyzer.  It seemed like it didn't handle power very well.  Even when I got the angle right and threw a nice-looking hyzer flip, the distance was always shorter than what I throw with my other distance drivers.  The disc seems like it does not have very good glide.  I think the Kastaplast Guld is a better disc and meant to replace the Grym and Grym X, the Guld is more overstable and has better glide.  This disc would be ok if you want a more understable 12 speed but I would still choose something else.
