XD does not stand for extra distance. Rather, the XD is another great disc in the Innova series of putters. While it is not made for distance, it is your go-to putter on a long approach or long putts. Some actually use the putter as their distance disc when nothing else is available. The XD is only available in DX plastic. For those who are dyslexic, this can be very confusing (or very straightforward).

XD approach disc -- 168g to 175g RHBH

very reliable, easy to find the line. perfect for all levels. i keep some of these when I am going for a low score on a course. have many approach shots that go in the basket. I would like INNOVA to make more of these in G star or XT. I have not found another disc like this. I try many others and I am only disappointed, The RPM Tui is close but not quite as stable as the XD. The XD could also bomb 400 feet downwind. There were some flatter top molds of these, and they are excellent. is also a good putter into the wind.
