One of the most popular drivers in the world, the Valkyrie held the world distance record for a decade. This is a stable flying distance driver with a good degree of high speed turn and fade. The Valkyrie can be used by players of all skill levels. It is a good distance driver for newer players developing form, and can be used for turnover shots and rollers for more advanced players. Because of the popularity of the Valkyrie it is available in just about every plastic Innova has to offer; DX, Pro, Champion, Star, and even Glow Champion.

Love the disc in Star plastic. I wanted a backup to my main Star Valk but in a heavier weight. After throwing the disc and taking a closer look/feel at the plastic, I noticed I was sent G-Star plastic. Still a great disc, but G-Star and Star fly differently and it is not what I was looking for. Very disappointed since Infinite is usually spot on.

Great disc. Nothing is really special about them but they  glide a ton, they go far, and ride whatever line you put them on. If you want a disc to fill in that beat Thunderbird slot, this disc is is.
I have bagged Valk's, Escapes, and TI Heats. Loving my Valk the most now but they are all interchangeable.

I think the name says it all as one of the most popular drivers. I love it. As it beats in it has very reliable turn, I'd even call it understable. Off the shelf, it is a pretty straight to left shooter. I have this disc in various plastics and stages and always keep at least one in my bag. There is always a spot that the Valk can fill. For me currently, I use my most understable champion as my go to forehand driver. My forehand isn't the best, but I can get 200 feet straight on a hyzer flip. A little more if I keep it flat and can let the disc work to flex out and back.

When I started playing I didn't have the arm speed to throw backhand. Every drive and upshot was forehand and this disc was my go to. Now a year later things have improved and the valkyrie has remained one of my favorite discs. I carry two in my bag in different weights, always Star or GStar plastic.
