My favorite throwing putter.  Point and shoot and then it just drops.  Forehand, backhand, doesn't matter.  Wish I could get her in a premium plastic though, gummy champ would be sick.

    Very surprised,

I was looking for a new putter, this one met the detentions that I was looking for. Shallow, straight to stable, figured I would give this a shot. Wow, I don't know if this will continue to be my main putter, but this disc will always have a spot in my bag now.

Normally I don't go for beaded putters, but due to the shape I don't even notice the bead. The VTech rim just keeps this disc from turning over, and the lack of glide (more of a 2 than a 1) gives this disc a lot of control. I think my favorite part of this disc is that I don't have to calculate for wind at all. Just consistent (It is like throwing an actual bullfrog at the basket). I found that I can drive with this putter and makes for consistent tunnel shots.

Oddly, if you don't have an approach disc "beat to heck" on a forehand this disc is awesome. When I want to use a Harp for an approach but I am in the woods and I don't have that kind of room, this will hold a straight line with a mellow finish.

My go-to putter has a slight dome, carries a little further and has a little less fade. I also have a puddle-top bullfrog that falls out of the sky; amazing forehand and approach disc.

All in all I would call this a Whale3 (VAviar3), follows the same path as a Whale but not nearly as deep/domey. My only complaint is that I really don't care for the XT plastic; if they started making KC Bullfrogs, I will take 20.

This was the last missing slot in my bag. Something I could put power on both backhand and forehand and it will just fly straight. It's perfect for a super straight approach and sits where it lands. The small amount of glide makes this also fill a hole for a wind putter. Perfect for tunnel shots up to 250'

As soon as I felt this disc in my hand I wanted to buy more.  I have fairly small hands so many putters feel uncomfortably deep for me to hold.  The bullfrog instantly felt perfect.  The stamp is hilarious.  There is a small comfortable bead on the rim.  The XT plastic is firm and grippy.  With the blunt sides and the flat top it feels like a brick in your hand, but like a friendly brick that you've known your whole life that only wants good things for you.

I did not instantly buy more though.  I played a few rounds with the bullfrog to see if I actually liked it.  Boy, do I like it.  The disc feels great and works great (for me) for putts and on relatively straight approaches within about 100'.  Hard to miss by much because it doesn't do much.  But the best thing about it is how it handles the wind.  The bullfrog doesn't fight the wind so much as it just doesn't acknowledge that wind exists.  Headwinds, tailwinds, crosswinds, drivers dancing all over the place and the bullfrog hops straight to where you sent it and sits down with no fuss at all.  Just trying to eat some chains.  It's a beautiful thing.

So then I came back and bought 5 more for practicing with.  If they release this disc in different plastic or with a different stamp I'll probably come back and buy more again.  Got to catch em all.  I would recommend the bullfrog to anybody.  It was instantly my favorite disc.

Wow, talk about a disc that has almost ZERO ground action. This is by far the most forgiving putter in history, and I will always have a couple in my bag. When I'm inside the circle I definitely can trust these things to make it to the basket. And if I were to miss the putt, it'll sit down right next to the basket without rolling into oblivion. The 1-Glide is very evident, and it does require you to put a little more push and/or spin to get it moving, otherwise it'll drop out very fast.

Regardless, if you want a putter that won't make you pay for undershooting/overshooting, give this Frog a chance!

I took a chance on this disc looking for a putter that could fill a pretty big slot in my bag. Its everything you could want and more! I ask a lot of my putters as I throw them off the tee on all kinds of shapes out to 300ft. This disc feels more like a 2 glide and 2 fade as its pretty stable. If thrown at max power for me I can get just a little over 300ft out of this disc even with a slight breeze. It will hold straight, anhyzer, hyzer all equally well. Need a 100ft straight forehand? Just point and shoot. It has a flat top so it suits my forehand approaches pretty nice. The xt plastic hits and sits. Its also great for putting! Great disc all around!

When I first held the bullfrog I had interesting thoughts. It did not feel like the most comfortable disc in my hand for some reason but I felt that it could grow on me the more I threw it. Also I really loved how the XT plastic felt, it just feels like you have the perfect amount of grip but it doesn't feel like it will get trashed if you hit anything. The bullfrog flew very much like I expected and it ws a really nice thing to try out. It will fly straight for a good distance if you put it flat without too much power. When I powered up I could get a little bit of some turn on it or get it to flip up a little bit from a hyzer angle. I find that the bullfrog would be a disc I would be using a lot during my rounds since I love approaching with straighter putters and thats what this is for me. I do not bag it anymore just because I found the maiden to fill this in my bag better but still I will always have the thought about bringing it back in my bag. I think a lot of people are missing discs like the bullfrog in their bag.

I've been playing with the Bullfrog for about 2 months now and can't believe I didn't have it sooner. Flat top style is awesome and I feel super comfortable shaping this in whatever kind of shot I need for any approach. 30-130 ft is where I feel like this disc thrives and it has a subtle skip and hold up to the basket. I play a lot of heavily wooded courses and can shape this approach around trees without worry of a huge skip once it gets basket-high. Recommend for all levels of skill.

The Bullfrog feels excellent in my hand and very comfortable for a power drive. I like the feel of XT plastic, so that helps. As for the flight of the disc. It went perfectly straight, with a little finish left at the end. I didn't get the distance that I get with other driving putters, but I didn't expect to. I would say the numbers are close to spot on. This disc is perfect for upshots of 50-175 feet. Maybe 200 feet max, but for me that is a bit of a stretch.

So I was an Aviar and VooDoo putter for my time playing (4.5-5years) but once I put one of these in my hands at the LVC this year, I absolutely fell in love with the immediate feel. I was able to apply a full grip as I would a driver off the tee. I grabbed two right then and there. I now own 8 of them. Four for practice and four in my bag... yeas four in my bag.. I’ve had more runs with this putter than any other disc in my bag. I can put this bad boy on a ani-flip line and it will flatten out and finish so flat or a soft hyzer line, I have one of them I know will finish right on an ani when needed. Without a doubt, my favorite putter/approach disc, highly recommend!

This disc is money.  Shallow, flat top, in XT it's hard but grippy. Perfect for FH approach shots.  Throws and feels just like a Zone except it doesn't fade!  If you get one of these and a Zone you'll have every approach shot covered.

By far the best putter I have ever used. With its combination of a flat top, shallow rim, and incredibly straight flight, this has instantly become my go to putter both for putting and off the tee. The low glide means that even if I miss my putt I will not be far from the basket for a comeback, and means that it is very easy to judge how much power to put on it for drives or upshots. With its low profile, it is also well suited for short, straight forehands that I have found to be very difficult with most other popular putters. The plastic is also fairly durable compared to other base-line putter plastics, and has far superior grip in all conditions.

Hello to my new putter driver when I need control and don't have that bad of a ceiling. With a slight flex this thing will end up dead straight and the plastic IS AMAZING. It can be pouring rain, and grip isn't an issue. Quite durable, beats in to straight with a slow, reliable fade (more like a "drift). Tried putting with it but it likes to slip out.

I started using the Bullfrog for putting in windy conditions and it works quite well for that.  I have also found that it is a consistent approach disc and is good off the tee for short holes.  The XT plastic feels good in the hand in all playing conditions.

I bought this disc on a day that was super windy as my Banger GT wasn't really helping me out, ever since this has become my go to putter and a fave for throwing off the tee. While it doesn't have much glide which means you need to put a bit of oomph on those puts, it is fantastic into a headwind and has really helped me with my spin-putting.

The great thing is that if you fluff your put a bit you know it isn't going to go sailing miles past the basket, which is always a bonus.

Here in Eastern Kansas the courses are usually WINDY.  I regularly play on the windiest of the courses.  Regular gusts of 30 mph are not uncommon.  I've been looking for a short approach disc to negate the wind.  THIS IS IT!  Hallelujah!  The XT plastic is thick and very stiff, but has a good grip.  This disc has very little glide.  This is perfect for simply aiming at the pin.  Wind or no wind, if you keep this disc low it just falls straight towards your target.  With the winds we regularly get here, "going for it" is not the best option.  The Bullfrog is very useful in making sure you have a tap-in putt. No fear of three putting.

I haven't practiced circle putting with it much, or putting a full throw to determine if this would make good driving putter, but if you have a windy day, don't leave home without your Bullfrog, if you have one.  If you haven't got one yet, run to your nearest toy store and get one.  Or buy it HERE ;)

I have never been a fan of throwing putters, as the usual depth (1.5 cm) feels uncomfortable in my hand. I was looking for a putter that I could throw backhands, but most importantly, a disc that I could throw forehand straight for 80-150 feet. I love the zone, but the fade is too much in narrow fairways or wooded areas.

This disc is EXACTLY! what I have been looking for. The rim is perfect- exact same size as my zone. The xt plastic feels wonderful in the hand and is durable. And most importantly- I can flick this thing with little fade. If you have ever flicked a normal 1.5 cm putter(not recommended) I am sure you have experienced some wobble or turnover. Flicking this had neither. Buy this disc!!

There wont be much I can say that hasn't been litigated below, but suffice it to say this is an amazing point and shoot approach disc.

If you have an open look from >200 you should throw this disc right at your target. I will say this discs flight characteristics depend on the right speed. This disc will fade out if you try to lay it up.

Numbers are accurate out of box but in as quickly as 5 or 6 rounds you'll soften its characteristics. As for flight numbers I too would bump the glide to a 2, and I myself think the turn is -.5 to -1. Not enough to flip over, but if you crush this disc flat it will drift to the right and hold a straight line. You can finesse a little bend out of this bad boy.

Makes an excellent circle putter and jump putter as well. Fits comfortably in the hand with a shallow rim and just does not fade. Once the speed runs out this disc falls straight to the ground.

This has become my approach disc of choice. With the flat top and moderate rim, I find the Bullfrog to be comfortable for both backhand and forehand. With the low glide and fade on this disc it allows me to adopt a point and shoot attack. If my drive is decent I automatically start thinking of how I'm going to get myself a tap-in putt using my Bullfrog. This mold really shines with approaches from 150 and in.

Putting: I have tried putting with this disc and believe it would make a fine in the circle putter.

The Bullfrog's XT plastic feels good in the hand, grippy but not that 'pencil eraser' bad feel I've experienced with some XT discs.  When thrown with full power, the Bulldog flies very straight before fading slightly at the end.  At less power, when throwing for accuracy, some healthy fade must be accounted for.   Due to its low glide, it does not get the distance that some other Speed 3 putters will get.  But don't be fooled;  the Bullfrog had more glide than that Glide "1" rating would suggest.

When putting with the Bullfrog, it felt decent in the hand.  The problem was that it was touchy.  It's good for my spin putt, and I could put some 'oomph' into the putting throw, and sometimes I needed to.  But in headwinds, I had the Bullfrog sail on me, and sail over the basket(!).   It was really touchy, which disappointed me.

All in all, if you are a spin putter and power thrower, you'll like the Bullfrog, but it's not for everyone.

I would say this disc is a great mix between a dagger and a harp. The XT plastic is very dense and gives it great drop. If you have significant snap, it will be a tremendous approach putter.

Recently picked up a couple of first run Bullfrogs to test out. Both are 175g. First tosses were in my back yard where I have 100 feet to work with. I didn't put much into my first throw and just about lost the disc over my back fence. While I would say that the glide is pretty low I'd say it's probably more than a 1. A few more throws in the back yard and I was really liking them. Took them out to my home course and played a round yesterday using the Bullfrog exclusively for putting and for about fifty percent of my upshots. I have to say I might have putted better with the Bullfrog than any putter I've used in recent years. It's definitely a "point and shoot" disc when putting so as long as your aim is true it goes where it's supposed to. Think I'll make the Bullfrog my primary putter for 2019 and see how it goes.

I feel the flight numbers are pretty accurate for putting but if you actually throw it I'd put the glide closer to a 2.
