As one of the understable midrange discs in Discraft’s lineup, the Meteor is great for controlled turnover throws. If you are right handed, throw backhand, and need a disc that is going to fly to the right, this is the disc you’re looking for. The Meteor will turn and glide giving beginners more control and distance. The Meteor comes in premium ESP and Z plastics. This is one of the best golf disc plastics on the market, providing superior grip and durability. The Meteor is available in weights between 167-178 grams. Lighter weight discs will turnover more easily.

The Meteor is one of my favorite mid-ranges out there. I love it as a compliment to the Buzzz and Verdict I also bag. The smooth, controlled turnover shot the Meteor offers is a must-have in my bag. The Meteor is great to hyzer-flip for tunnel shots where it can flip up and slow glide and settle softly or with a bit of fade to the right. I prefer to use the ESP plastic for my Meteor as it holds its flight characteristics longer and playing in the woods in WI, but it is great for any type of course. I like to use this disc for shots ranging 250-285ft, especially if it calls for a turn-over or I need a backhand to fade to the right. It's also great for longer, panning forehand scramble shots, it holds a nice line and will glide without getting stable and dumping out of the shot.

I would recommend this disc to beginners because of the glide and control it offers. This is a fantastic disc to learn angle control and shot shapes with.
