I use the Machete as my spike hyzer shot. I have this in the ESP plastic and it feels great coming out of the hand. It's a BIG meat hook (to the left) so just know that going in when you throw. It has a place in my bag for the speciality shots so over the 18 holes i'll throw it 1-3 times.

Ok, this disc is not for anyone except for people with big arms. Period.

ESP - this flies like a faster flat top firebird. I throw both 350-375 if thrown flat. Firebird is more straight to fade, machete is more of a sweeping fade.

Z - more OS than esp. This is great for thumbers assuming you can throw a baseball 70 mph+. Less glide than esp... to the point that it's not very usable backhand but can still pull off some cool forehand flex.lines.

Z-flx - Most OS disc I've ever thrown. Think a justice is OS? Lol - no. This makes a FAF firebird look like a teebird. It doesnt fade - it falls out of the sky. Almost useless... BUT - it can be the absolute max distance thumber disc. I have about an 80 mph fastball... and often, I cant get this thing to do a full pan. I have to throw it high, and hard as possible to get a full flight.

The Machete from Discraft is an overstable distance driver. This disc really threw just like a Pulse for me, there is a lack of glide and nice big fade at the end of the flight. The Pulse wasn't really for me, and neither is the Machete. Many will like this disc because of its consistency though.
