An understable fairway driver with a predictable flight pattern, the Eclipse is an excellent choice for newer disc golfers. This wide diameter driver has a relatively narrow rim (1.4cm) that is easier to control for players with smaller hands. The Eclipse is an inexpensive disc in Discraft’s Pro-D plastic.

    Pro-D Details

Pro-D is Discrafts affordable basic plastic blend. This isn't the most durable plastic, but it provides good grip and is very affordable. For old school disc golfers that like to "break in" thier discs for varying flight paths, Pro-D is an excellent choice. It is also one of the most popular blends for putters and is often referred to as "putter line" plastic.

An old school disc, the discraft eclipse was introduced in the 80's and is a close cousin to the discraft tracer. The disc is a decent flyer(with great glide) and is a solid choice for beginning and intermediate disc golfers. The eclipse will start out slightly over stable (turn left for rhbh shots) And as it becomes "seasoned" will become a straight flyer and later will start turning right and then it becomes a good candidate for a roller disc. This disc is worth a try . I have several but don't use them since they are wall hangers. Would like to see this disc in premium plastic.
