Not only does the Swift Fox have a cool name, but this is a great Daredevil disc for newer disc golfers. The understable nature of this fairway driver makes it easy to throw.

    Grip Performance Details

Grip performance is the grippiest of the Daredevil plastic blends. If you're looking for a plastic that will perform well in all weather conditions, consider this one. Grip performance is less durable than Daredevil's High and Flex performance blends.

160g Grip Performance.  Cool looking disc.  Great plastic.  Great quality.  Unless the disc has changed, the numbers are wrong.  My Swift Fox has 9, 5, -3, 1 written on the faceplate.  It is at least a speed 9.  I can throw this disc further than some of my distance drivers (that isn't the case with my other control drivers, so I don't think that it's just a skill level issue).  I can get some serious distance and serious S-curves out of this disc when I throw it hard.  When I throw it more lightly it acts more like a control driver.  This is a very versatile disc!  It would be a great 1st driver that you can keep using even when you get a lot better.  If you haven't tried a Daredevil disc, I really like all the ones that I own (Yeti, Swift Fox, and Timberwolf).  They seem to take abuse well and perform well.

Beats understable super quick. Great for flip ups, turnovers, and rollers without much effort. Perfect for a 'first driver'. Grippy baseline plastic.

Tried the Swift Fox on a whim. Daredevil does their discs a bit differently than other companies in that they have a few molds, but only one plastic and specific weight ranges per model. So the timberwolf and the swift fox share the same mold, but the swift fox is only made in lower weights and Grip Performance plastic, whereas the timberwolf is only made in medium weights and Flex Performance plastic and as a result, the swift fox is a touch more understable than the timberwolf. I love the timberwolf. So I tried a swift fox. It is a little less stable, yes, but it's also almost 10 grams lighter. I found that it's a nice flick hyzerflip disc that skips well.

I wish I could put 0 Stars. The guy that runs my local pro shop recommended this disc. This disc is trash. Do not buy this disc. Stay away. You'd have better luck throwing a trash can lid.
