The SharpShooter #3 is the putt and approach disc in the SharpShooter line. Like the other SharpShooter discs, the #3 has a series of “steps” that elevate on the top rim. The steps are designed to provide a consistent disc, and distribute aerodynamic lift evenly over the disc. The SharpShooter#3 is a very overstable putter with a very flat top. If you like putters with a firm plastic that won’t bend, then you may really like the SharpShooter #3. This plastic bend is not only hard, but it also floats in water.

This might just be the most overstable disc I own and definitely the most overstable putter I own and I have the Baobab. This has more glide than that one so it will carry to the left a fair bit on a RHBH throw. I have it in my bag as a utility disc for those tough shots. I don't use it for putting just for approach. The stairs feel odd makes it unique and all the other guys I play with stifle a laugh when I show it to them. I think it's a good disc in the right situation.

An overstable putter, like a Wizard. However, unlike any other fairway that I know of, this disc is heavy, overstable, and floats in water, just don't purchase brown...not fun to find in the brown water or in brown leaves. All the Aerobie I can put upside down, push to the bottom of the lake, and sure enough they pop right back up. If I have to throw around water, I see if the line will favor an Aerobie. Also, the plastic does beat up easily, however, no matter how beat up mine get, they continue to be overstable. I have had mine since they came out, and they continue to fly the way I first threw them. An added plus, PDGA approved!  I have mine in the bag, not just because it floats, but also for I can forehand this puppy straight to the basket, no matter the wind. Sink it deep between your index and thumb, provide plenty of snap, and let it shoot to its mark. You can get other overstable putters, but even the aforementioned wizard will break in over time. I have not been able to break mine in, it continues to fade left on a BHRH.

I actually got a little chuckle when I saw Infinite Discs carried the Aerobie Sharpshooter series. I have never thrown #1 and #2, but #3 is a decent putter for what it is. It has a "fastback" style top similar to a standard Frisbee, but with it's own unique feel. The Sharpshooter #3 is not anywhere as overstable as advertised, and has barely any glide to speak of. The plastic also beats up way too easily. I gave it one star because I can't see any reason to purchase this disc...there is much cheaper options out there and they do a much better job.
